Historical Sights

♥ Garni Temple: Located near the village of Garni, this Hellenistic-style temple was built in the 1st century AD by King Tiridates I. It is dedicated to the sun god Mihr and stands as one of the best-preserved examples of ancient architecture in Armenia.

♥ Geghard Monastery: A UNESCO World Heritage site, Geghard Monastery is partly carved into the cliffs of the Azat River Gorge. It dates back to the 4th century, with some sections believed to be much older. The complex is famous for its unique rock-cut churches and stunning medieval architecture.

♥ Erebuni Fortress (Arin Berd): This ancient citadel is located in the capital city, Yerevan. Founded in 782 BC by King Argishti I, it marks the birthplace of Yerevan and offers insight into the country's Urartian past.
