When we first began planning our nuptials for July of 2020, the universe had other plans. A lot has happened since then, and through it all we are reminded that nothing is more important than life. Therefore, join us as we celebrate life- and its many occasions!

It all started back in 2015, when Rene asked his waitress, Ani Nina, "what's the best drink on the menu?" When she brought over a Lemon Drop martini, he struck up a conversation and the rest is history!

On May 3rd, 2019, as their Warner Brothers Studio Tour came to an end on the iconic 'Friends' Central Perk set, Rene got down on one knee and popped the question. After several moments of shock- he put a ring on it. #theonewiththeharsanik

With their wedding celebration indefinitely postponed, they secretly tied the knot and surprised family and friends with the news under a sky full of fireworks on July 4th, 2020 (their original wedding date).

Their greatest adventure began July 27th, 2022 as two became three, with the birth of their daughter Roxanne (Arax) Rene Babaian.

Together Rene and Ani Nina have trotted the globe- seeking adventure, culture, food, art, and more. As the trotting continues with tot in tow, join them in Armenia this summer as they celebrate love and life!
